Junior Literacy Council members come from Plainview High School, Plainview Christian Academy and local/area home school associations. They not only help the HCLC adult board with service projects but also develop their own projects. Members receive points for participation. Those points accumulate throughout their service time and are valuable for service/transcript purposes.

HCLC selects junior board members once a year. Current JLC members recommend students and HCLC adult board members also make recommendations.
